Beanie Bros

So I know I've been slackin' on the blog lately so I thought I'd post some recent pictures of the boys sportin their new beanies from Nonna. These two seem to be growing by the day. They keep me on my toes at all times but it's so fun for me as a mom watching them grow closer and closer as they are getting older. Although they already wrestle and fight like brothers they always have their moments during the day when they just laugh and laugh and can't get enough of one another. These two make us happy parents and remind us everyday how much God has blessed us.

Let It Snow

Today we woke up to a snow covered street. JJ and I let the kids run around and play in the snow before we headed to church. They had so much fun.

Here's Braylon helping daddy get all the snow off our car. He thought he was such a big boy helping then all of a sudden he freaked out cause he realized he couldn't feel his hands anymore cause they were so frozen. Next time we will bring out the gloves.

Getting there pants all wet before church. Nice.

This is just the begining of our long cold winter. I guess we better get used to it cause it doesn't seem to be going away. I'm glad the kids are fans, it'll make for some fun winter days.

"Daddy Did It"

So apparently I need to answer JJ faster when he asks me what level to shave the kids hair at. Cause he asked me and I was distracted and three seconds later Jax was a bald man. No joke. I was not lovin this look at first and I am still getting used to it but for some reason everytime I look at him I can't help but laugh. He looks like a 25 year old in a babies body. Doesn't matter if this kid has long or short hair, he's still a handsome little funny man.

Celebrate

Happy 22nd Birthday
to my beautiful baby sister Becca. Although Becca is a few years younger then me she has taught me alot just by being herself. A patient and loving mom, a loving and respectful wife and a woman of Christ. I feel so blessed to have her in my life as a sister and a best friend. Hope you have a great birthday Bec, you deserve it. Love you so much!!

Happy 26th Anniversary to my wonderful mom and dad. Talk about true love and a wonderful example of how a husband and wife should be. My parents are great people as individuals but even more great together as a couple. Thank you for being the most supporitive and loving parents a child could ever ask for and thank you even more for loving eachother the way you do.

???

I had a feeling it was probably a little too early to permanently decide on a name for our baby girl and I was right. After calling her Taytum pretty much this whole pregnancy for some reason the name Makalya keeps popping in my head. So for now she has no first name, middle name is still Faith, and we will decide on delivery day what our angel will be named. Who knows maybe she won't look like either and it'll be a surprise to us too. I'm kind of excited about this.

Love you Daddy

and your laugh

adventure

smile

tickles

and kisses

As most of you know JJ will be deploying to Iraq in a few months. Today he had to leave for his big one month training for his deployment so we are feelin a little sad. Once these boys realize that daddy won't be home after work today it's all over. They have become quite the daddys boys lately, especially Jaxten so I know these next couple days are gonna be a little rough. On a positive note the boys and I will be flying to California on saturday for three weeks so I'm sure once they see their cousins, Gamma, Poppy, aunts and uncles they will be pretty distracted and the time will go by a little faster for them. Until then "We love you Daddy and will be praying for you, your safety and your strength all month long.

The Theme

So I keep getting the question, "What theme are you gonna have for the babies room?" This is basically what I am wanting. JJ will be deployed Taytum's first year of life so we made the decision to have her little nursery be a part of our room 1) So I don't feel so alone without hubby 2) Ill have my first girl roomate, and its my daughter, so fun!! 3) I wanna keep our guest room a guest room so we have lots of visitors. I wanted to choose a theme that would go good with what we already have in our room but still incorperate the baby girl vibe which I am stoked about and is why I just have to have pink in it. After having two boys and knowing this is our last baby I just want it to be all girl. The walls will not be pink though, just the accents in the room. I have to say I am truly loving picking things out for a girl this time a round. I love my baby boys more then anything but it's pretty fun for me to be registering for girl items cause I honestly never thought I would be so I'm one happy momma. We can't wait to meet Taytum!!! We Get more and more excited by the day. 15 Weeks to Go. That's black and white damask by the way not black and pink, kinda hard to tell in the picture.

Bye Bye pretty boy

After hearing people mistake Jaxten for being a girl about ten times in the past two days JJ and I decided to shave his head.

I loved his long hair and was a little hesitant to have JJ completely shave it but I have to say that I absolutely love the results

Jax was a pro and truly enjoyed the whole getting his head shaved experience

That is until we had to take his sucker away for a minute to wash all the hair off of it

I don't think people will be mistaking this little guy for a girl anymore!!

Boo at the Zoo

Braylon was so exicited to go trick or treating at the zoo. He was pretty much in heaven. Candy and animals his two favorite things.

When we picked JJ up from work to head to the zoo he looked at the boys in their costumes and told them how cute they were and then he looked at me and said, "what are you?? A hick!" He was dead serious though. He thought I was dressed up as a farmer. Apparently he isn't up to date with women's fashion.

Braylon loved getting the treats but hated having to get them from some weird dressed up person. He would get the candy and bolt. Half the time he would start running before they put the candy in his bag.

Jaxten was pretty intrigued by the Jack O' Lanterns

Jaxten chilled the whole night. We gave him a sucker towards the begining of the night and it lasted him the whole time. He's easy to please.

Gettin Ready for the night

Braylon got to chose his costume. I tried to convince him to be Thomas the Train but he insisted he be Brobee.

Jaxten wore Braylon's costume from last year. He actually loved being in the rooster suit.

Such a fun night and we have more halloween festivities tonight!!
